Magic Penny 1 is the first app from the award winning and evidence-based Magic Penny Reading Program. This intuitive app is designed to teach phonemic awareness and phonemically-based phonics skills in support of our reading program. The pronunciations of the speech sounds are based on the science of phonetics. The unvoiced sounds /s/ and /f/ are recorded a bit louder so they can be heard in a noisy classroom. For home use, just turn the volume down until the /s/ and /f/ sound clear. Ages 4-6.
Requires iOS 3.2 or later. Compatible with iPad.
